Gary Mazur was born in Buffalo, New York where he received art training at the State Teachers College. As an artist based in Buffalo, he was a member of the Albright Knox Museum Art Society. His artwork was exhibited at the Allentown Art Festival for many years. Pieces of his artwork are displayed in homes, legal offices, and restaurants.

In 1983 Gary relocated to Houston, Texas and in 2000 moved to the desert in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Gary has produced props and backgrounds for several conventions. He enjoys a worldwide clientele with customers in Italy, London, San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, Texas, Florida, Nashville and Albuquerque.

Gary gives back to his community by donating art work and time to many local organizations including: The Sunridge Foundation, Foothills Animal Rescue, The Bering Community Service Foundation, The Dizinger Foundation, The Houston Zoo, Pumped Up On Art (A Unique Shoe Auction) and Custom Made Theater Company and the National Association for Humanities Education.

Gary was a featured artist at the National Association for Humanities Education 2007 Benefit Auction and his art was featured on the cover of Interdisciplinary Humanities.
